A Short Reflection on the Passion of Christ ( Luke 22:14--23:56)
From the Gospel account on the Passion of Christ, we can observe three types of people. The first type are those who hate Jesus. They wanted him to die. They accused him. They discredited him. They did everything to destroy him. The Second type are those who were indifferent. They did nothing. They chose to be mere spectators. They didn't care. It was none of their business to be of help, to get involved. The third type were those who became witnesses of Jesus. They were moved. They were touched. They believed. They accepted Jesus and proclaimed that He is the Son of God. They chose Jesus and they followed him. Let us ask ourselves to which type of people do we belong....if we are of the first two types, let us strive to be among the third type.
